Beauty Salon Marketing |

Once you open your beauty salon, you will want to market it to attract clients. Here are some tips for marketing your beauty salon.
Creating a specific brand is a very important marketing concept. Determine what you brand is going to be and then design your marketing materials using that brand logo. Spend significant time on your logo as the goal of a great logo is for people to see it and think of your brand. Create a logo that lends itself to the services and products you are going to offer. If your salon has a European flair, create the logo accordingly. Design a logo that will make people think of beauty and style.
Decide what type of clientele you want to attract and target that market. One way to target your market is through direct mail. Direct mailing brochures is a great marketing concept. If your target market is soccer moms, purchase a mailing list targeting women between the ages of 30-50 residing in specific post codes near your salon. Create a nicely designed brochure that talks about the services you offer. Think about putting a discount coupon for new or current customers.

Create a website for your salon using an online template that is in keeping with your salon's atmosphere. Is your salon stylish and trendy? If so, choose a template that denotes that. Put some hip music as an audio file on your site so viewers will hear it when they click on your site. Write a blog that talks about the benefits of your salon and the products and features that you offer. Create a tab to a page that lists your services and any upcoming promotional events you want to call out. Update your site often so it stays fresh and attracts viewers. Learn how to use social bookmarking sites to further promote your site.
Provide a customer value card. After ten haircuts, customers can get the 11th one at a discount. Or, after five coloring jobs, the customer can get highlights at a discounted rate. Customers love to get a discount. Make sure the card has a high resolution image of your logo along with a relevant picture of a beauty salon with a beautiful satisfied customer or the image of an asthetically pleasing salon.
Follow up with your customers to keep them informed of relevant events and new products that you are offering. Set future appointments for a customer before they leave the salon. Give them a reminder card with your logo on the front. Keep some business cards or fliers advertising your salon on the front counter so customers can take them to give out to friends and family.
